This is a hilarious picture book, full of surprises and teasing visual jokes. As with so many of Anthony Browne's books, this story works on several levels with sophisticated pictures combining with a simply told story. Within the story there is a serious message, but it is also a humorous tale that will delight young children and the whole family - and provide some food for thought.
