He is currently the executive director of the Gentle Path program and Pine Grove Behavioral Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Carnes is also the chief executive officer of New Freedom Corporation and New Freedom Publications in Carefree, Arizona. David Delmonico, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the department of counseling, psychology, and special education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
