It is a 40-page book consisting of 19 poems, some accompanying notes, 6 hand-drawn sketches of Members of Parliament (including Winston Peters and Helen Clark) and a photo of the Debating Chamber.

Susan Shanahan wrote the poems and drew the illustrations whilst working at Parliament from 1994 to 2002 in a variety of positions, including substantial time as a Parliamentary Messenger.
