Kathryn Heyman grew up in Australia, where she worked as an actor and playwright. Her previous novels are KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL and THE BREAKING (shortlisted for the Stakis Prize for the Scottish Writer of the Year). THE ACCOMPLICE was a recipient of the Arts Council of England Writer's Award. Kathryn Heyman lives with her partner and their two young children.
