Author description

Sir Hugh Roberts is Surveyor Emeritus of The Queen s Works of Art and was the Director of the Royal Collection from 1996 to 2010. He is the author of "For The King's Pleasure: The Furnishing and Decoration of George IV's Apartments at Windsor Castle," and has also written extensively on the decorative arts, contributing to the catalogs for numerous exhibitions."
