Description

While the Pill has become an integral part of women's lives, it is far from innocent. Links have been made between the Pill and depression, a loss of libido, nausea, weight gain, difficulties with conception, headaches and migraines. When a teenage girl or woman goes on the Pill, her body is a state of artificial pregnancy. Some women and girls are on the Pill for a short time. Many, however, are on it for ten to fifteen or more years. The Pill. Are you sure it's for you?explores the physical and psychological repercussions of taking the Pill, what other reliable contraceptive choices women and girls have, and how to regain their health and wellbeing as their body returns to its natural rhythm.
