Description

One day a tiny insect, no bigger than a freckle, climbs into Miss Calypso's classroom. Nobody notices until... Polly scritches, Joshua scratches and soon the whole class is scritching and scratching.
Children's Picture Book

Reviews

It won't help you get rid of the little critters, but at least it will make you laugh as you scratch. A really jolly gift for all those children and parents (and grandparents) who get uptight about nits. -- The Guardian

Author description

Miriam Moss: Scritch Scratch is Miriam's third book for Orchard. After an eventful childhood spent travelling around Africa, Hong Kong and the Yemen, Miriam Moss left the relative calm of boarding school to gain a degree from Oxford University. Shortly afterwards she qualified as a teacher. Miriam is married with three children and lives in East Sussex. Delphine Durand has illustrated books for many publishers, including Random House, New York. She studied illustration in Strasbourg and has been working as an illustrator ever since, working on both magazines and children's books. Scritch Scratch is her first book for Orchard.
