Marc, a 50-ish opera queen, and his young, ditsy dancer friend Paul find themselves working at a gay resort off the coast of Queensland, run by Newton Heath, a friend of Marc's. All goes as expected as Marc continues to drop whatever he hasn't already forgotten and Paul madly chases the guests, but when Newton is murdered our boys have a new mystery on their hands! As in One Dead Diva, all who come in contact with Marc and Paul are immediately suspect number one, including a sexy American slag, a media star with a secret, and the leaders of a church with one aeroplane and a hidden agenda. As they unravel the mystery, Marc and Paul discover gay holidaymakers aren't the only form of life on the island, in a bizarre finale full of tricks and surprises!
Phillip Scott, a lifelong resident of Sydney, Australia, has worked extensively as a television writer and performer, comedian, journalist, musical arranger, and piano player. He has written and performed in satirical reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and in London and has also worked as a musical director for David Campbell, Rowan Atkinson, and Lily Savage and even once accompanied Bea Arthur. He is the author of two other books, One Dead Diva and Get Over It!
