Dr Roger Neich is Curator of Ethnology at Auckland Museum and has worked in the Pacific for over 20 years, focusing on ethnic arts and material culture. He has written and contributed to many books, including Tapa Textiles of the Pacific (Thames & Hudson, 1997) and Maori Art and Culture (British Museum Press, 1996). Fuli Pereira, Assistant Curator of Ethnology at Auckland Museum, has contributed to books on Pacific jewellery and crafts.
