Walter Lucius is the pen name of Dutch scenarist and producer Walter Goverde. He has worked as a writer, assistant director and director for the respected Dutch theatre companies Affect, Zuidelijk Toneel and the Blauwe Maandag Compagnie. He also directed drama series, documentaries and news items for television. Walter owns his own audio-visual company, Odyssey Productions. Butterfly on the Storm is the first instalment of the Heartland Trilogy and his fiction debut.
