Do you love cooking and eating great food? Do you worry about gaining weight? Do you have or suspect you have food sensitivities? Would you like to feel fabulous all the time?
The good news is that there are ways of having your cake and eating it too. Basing their philosophy for health and wellbeing on their formidable combined experience in the food and natural health industries, Jan Purser and Kathy Snowball have created another cookbook with sensational healthy food suitable for all occasions, whether it's dinner for two, a family meal or entertaining the masses. And it's all gluten and dairy-free, making it suitable for people with sensitivities or allergies in those areas.
Following on from the success of their award-winning The Detox Cookbook, this is a book of recipes and practical advice for living well, for people with a passion for food who also want to keep a close eye on their health.
The Detox Cookbook (A&U 2004) has sold 9500 copies and continues to sell steadily making them best-sellers in our small market of 19 million. The Detox Cookbook has recently won the illustrated cookbook category of the Cordon d'Or - Gold Ribbon Cookbooks & Culinary Arts Awards. It was up against books illustrated by renowned US artists and photographers. People's awareness of diet and the effects of particular foods on health and wellbeing is growing: this book hits the market at just the right time. It is NOT a diet book but cooking this way will result in losing unwanted kilos because the authors promote a healthy approach to food. For people who don't want to sacrifice flavour but who want to be healthy - you don't have to have a food allergy to enjoy the benefits of this style of cooking. Also includes excellent health and wellbeing advice and tips about losing weight, managing stress and living well.
