Organized seasonally, reflecting the availablility of produce at different times of the year, this recipe book provides menu ideas for all manner of excursions: camping trips, boating weekends, trail rides, country walks or even expeditions to the end of the garden. The menus range from breakfasts to suppers and include: tomato pesto tart on a spring picnic; sweet walnut bread while sailing in summer; warm apple damper for autumn camping trips; and buttermilk cake for winter holidays.
