Louise Thompson is an Auckland-based life coach, yoga teacher and corporate escapee. In the past, Louise worked in numerous senior commercial roles in the newspaper and magazine industry for 17 years both here and in the UK. At age 37, having burnt the candle at both ends for many years, she collapsed at her desk and ended up bedridden with extreme fatigue. She couldn't dress herself, her hair was falling out by the handful, and she couldn't even crawl as far as the couch. Louise had no choice but to leave her job and focus on her health. To get well again, Louise worked through a series of life-coaching techniques to free her mind and, ultimately, heal her body. Having declared herself healthy once more, she kissed goodbye corporate life forever and dedicated herself to becoming a full-time wellbeing professional: a yoga teacher and wellness life coach, helping people to create a life they love.
