Mahadevi is a yoga teacher in Awhitu, a small rural community south west of Auckland, New Zealand. A latecomer to yoga to yoga she started her personal practice about 14 years ago, when she was over 50. The two-hour classes presented here are designed to meet a range of needs. It will suit people with joint and/or flexibility issues. Beginners are led slowly through important breathing practices and simple yet effective postures. Intermediates practitioners will find time to be fully present with their body and breath as they follow the instructions.
